Precision Agriculture

Successful yields are the result of managing a countless number of variables. Our agriculture services provide farmers, co-ops, and seed consultants with the information they need to make maximize their harvest. Included in the examples below are ground truth photos that show some of the problem areas that were revealed with our Drone surveying. Ground Truthing revealed an estimate of 4 acres loss of yield.

More specific applications address:

  • Connector.

    Irrigation Problems

Our imaging and mapping technologies can identify and locate irrigation issues by identifying line problems and blockages much faster than traditional methods.

  • Connector.

    Disease and Pests

Our images can show damage from molds, diseases, pests, mildew, and others. Images revealing these problems need ground trothed and monitoring for several months. Coupled with our growth detection monitoring you can rest assured any changes will be mitigated quickly.

  • Connector.

    Growth Detection & Monitoring

Our images allow monitoring of growth (when used 4 times or more a year) to mitigate and evaluate the crops. Any treatments can be monitored for resolve or reapplication. Data acquisition can be used for nutrient deficiencies when paired with scouting and soil samples. We can even detect equipment problems such as compaction, depths control, plugged applicators and more.

  • Connector.

    Soil & Weed Issues

Using infrared and other imaging technologies we can analyze images for anomalies in what appear to be otherwise healthy cross-section; this gives clients the ability to spot-treat cost-effectively.

  • Connector.

    Tile Mapping

High-resolution aerial imagery can aid in mapping tiles and can create shape files used in various farm management information systems

  • Connector.

    Mother Nature

Crop loss totaled nearly $6.1 billion throughout the united states in 2015. Independent aerial surveys of crop damage help our clients protect their interests when processing insurance claims.
